My Story
The process of my discernment to the priesthood was a fairly quick process. I came to college quite certain that I was going to leave a pharmacist. However, while studying pre-pharmacy at North Dakota State University I began to have an insatiable desire to learn more about my faith and to grow in it. In the year prior to my entering the professional program the Lord began to call me closer to himself.
Over the eight months prior to applying for entrance into the seminary I began to frequent the Sacrament of Reconciliation, attend daily Mass, and go to Eucharistic adoration. It was in these graced times of encountering Jesus Christ that the inclination that Our Lord was calling me to the priesthood began to be made manifest to me. This is not to say that I didn’t feel any aversion to the idea, quite the contrary. There were many times when I rejected the Lord’s invitation. Nevertheless, through prayerful discernment and by the grace of God I decided to apply for the seminary in June of 2006
